Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic

The Estonian SSR was an administrative subunit of the Soviet Union established following the occupation of Estonia. It existed as a de facto entity during the mid-20th century until the restoration of Estonian independence. Most international powers did not recognize its incorporation into the Soviet state.
