Summary
The Northern Oblast was a short-lived anti-Bolshevik government established during the Russian Civil War. Based in Arkhangelsk, it was led by figures such as Alexander Kolchak and supported by Allied intervention forces. It ceased to exist when the region was reintegrated into the Soviet state.
