Ōmura Domain

Imura Domain was a Japanese domain during the Edo period, centered around Kushima Castle in present-day Imura, Nagasaki. Ruled by the Imura clan, it was notable as the first daimyo family to convert to Christianity in 1562. The domain's wealth stemmed from Nanban trade, particularly after donating Nagasaki to the Society of Jesus.
