Summary
The Polish Soviet Socialist Republic was proposed in 1920 by the Provisional Polish Revolutionary Committee during the Polish-Soviet War. It aimed to establish a Soviet republic for the Polish population in territories of the Second Polish Republic. The committee announced its governance from Białystok, west of the Curzon Line.
