Prince-Bishopric of Strasbourg

The Prince-Bishopric of Strasbourg was an ecclesiastical principality within the Holy Roman Empire, existing from the 13th century until 1803. Much of its territory was annexed by France in the late 17th century, encompassing towns like Saverne and Molsheim. The Rohan family notably held the position of Prince-Bishop during the 18th century.
