Summary
Raigarh was a princely state within British India, founded in 1625 by Madan Singh of the Naagvanshi Gond dynasty. The state's capital was the city of Raigarh, which had a population of 6,764 in 1901. It was merged into the Union of India on December 14, 1947, and later formed part of the Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh.
