Republic of Cuba (1902–1959)

The Republic of Cuba existed between 1902 and 1959, following independence from Spain after the Spanish-American War. The Platt Amendment granted the U.S. intervention rights in Cuban affairs, significantly influencing its politics. The era ended with the Cuban Revolution, leading to a new political order.
