Socialist Republic of Serbia

This entity was the largest constituent republic of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, established between 1944 and 1946. Its capital, Belgrade, also functioned as the federal capital of the entire Yugoslav state. The republic included the autonomous provinces of Vojvodina and Kosovo.
