Transitional Islamic State of Afghanistan

The Transitional Islamic State of Afghanistan was a temporary government established by the Loya Jirga in 2002 following the fall of the Taliban. It served as a bridge between the Afghan Interim Administration and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Hamid Karzai led this authority until 2004.
