Province of Ávila

Ávila is a province located in central-western Spain, within the autonomous community of Castile and León. It's characterized by a diverse geography, split between a level northern section and rugged granitic sierras in the south. Historically, the area was inhabited by Celts and later conquered by the Romans around 192 B.C.
